To ask how to lock a door?

That doesn't have a keyhole... From the outside!
DH family are stopping by at ours after a gathering and very nosy. I wouldn't put it past them to 'accidentally' wander into a different room despite knowing where the toilet is!

I've had a Google but it all seems to be things like bars across the door. I was really hoping for a lock thing of some sort

I'm glad it's sorted.

I was going to suggest buying some CRIME SCENE tape and taping it in a criss-cross fashion across the door. Also, coat handle with Vaseline or similar clear substance.

Add a "DO NOT ENTER Authorized Persons Only" sign. Because they're so nosey, when they "demand" an explanation make up a wild tale, or simply say it's top secret and being monitored 24/7 and even you aren't allowed to open the door. Then ask if they need a hand towel or to wash up (their gooey hands if they weren't able to resist).
