What is better - great sex or your favourite food/meal?

Maybe it’s because I am on a diet right now (fast 800) but I am obsessing over food. Stuffing myself with my favourite food is better than sex imo. I’m only 31 and think this. Maybe I’ve been unlucky with men. I probably would answer different when not restricting (possibly not)

I'm sorry, another one here who would go for sex everytime.I think I've had some pretty good meals but sex can be literally mind blowing for me, I see stars and everything. Food has never done that.

I haven't had sex for 18 years, couldn't find the energy if I had the opportunity, and my libido drives past about twice a year these days. I'd still choose my rare, minimum-effort DIY sex replacement over a wonderful steak 😆

I LOVE food and used to love sex even more! Good thing I can remember how amazing it was - also good that I can have a steak fairly often, or I really would be sad.

I love sex and my husband is an absolute champ when it comes to pleasuring me but if I had to choose between delicious tasty fisherfolk food or great sex I'd take the food.

Great sex... haven't had it for a long time and the lack thereof definitely affects my mood. So if the choice is great sex or food, I'd go with sex as it really lifts my spirits.

On the other hand, mediocre sex I could live without, so I'd rather have food!

Did/does your DH also feel similar about sex, which is why it all works out?

That’s quite a visceral, detailed description of why you dislike the concept of sex. Fair enough, and each to their own, I respect it. I’m just curious - is there an acceptance from your DH that you think all these things about sex, and perhaps therefore he does too / or has other reasons to avoid it, thereby everyone being happy in the end?

Yes, been married 26 years.
Yes, he's happy with it too.
Our relationship isn't physical but it's very close and it works perfectly for us.
I don't want to hijack the thread with the big long story but it took a while to get to this point but we worked through it and worked out a relationship that suits us perfectly.

Great sex definitely. Nice food makes you feel great at the time but I always feel awful afterwards and feel disgusting for eating nice /unhealthy food. Great sex makes you feel good about yourself for ages after.

Sex. Done right it can be almost spiritual. I love food but I’ve never had a transcendent meal.
