What have you got in your life worth more than £10 million?

On my way to the hospital this morning, if I had been given a choice between £10 million and a clear biopsy, I would have chosen the negative biopsy result, which I now have!

When I was in my 20s and told I was infertile, if I often thought if I was given the choice between £10 million and motherhood, I would chose motherhood, which I then got in my 30s, and still have (adult children now!)

So I have my family I thought I would never have, and i have decades left with them, rather than the few months I was warned might be all that was left.

I have a grand total of £20 million in my pocket this morning! (well, not in cash - but in value!)

What have you got worth more than gold? Lets have a happy thread xx

The love of my life, and a £400 watch.

My 2 sons most days. Other days I would happily pay for someone to take them:). DH is nice 10% of the time, does that make me 1000£ richer or 9000£ poorer?

My children. They are just the most amazing children and have been at every age. Being their mum has brought me such deep happiness.

If I had a spare £10m and was able to use it to cure their allergies and my rare neurological condition though I would do so in a heartbeat. Health is hugely valuable.

Last year we struggled financially but this year has been the opposite, and what I've found is that when you can afford most things you want, it actually devalues them and makes them much less special.

So I would say my husband and two teenagers, my extended family, my friends, my cats and our home are worth more than £10M to me!

Congratulations on your good news op, that is priceless!

For me it's my family and friends, including our ddog. DD1 was an IVF baby as we were told we couldn't have kids as I had 'unexplained infertility' ... dd2 was a complete surprise and arrived during lockdown on my 30th birthday!

My daughter and my sobriety.

I’m childfree by choice and I just did a test with myself - if I was offered £10m to have children, what would I do? I’d have to turn down the £10m and keep my current lifestyle. So I guess the answer is that? And everything that comes along with it - autonomy, freedom, my career, dogs, partner, spontaneity

Those are precious and wonderful things to want to preserve.

The love I have for my kids, the visceral drive to protect them and the way I worry about their future have profoundly affected my autonomy and freedom!

My DC and my mental health.

My cat and my horse.

My children - obviously. I think (or would hope) that every parent would say that! (Sadly I reckon some would not!)

Also, congratulations on your clear biopsy results @Maybethisyearornext but taking the £10 million and having non-clear biopsy results would have been a bit pointless, as what use is £10 million if you have cancer and you die? Sad
