To remind everyone to actually vote?

The conservatives etc are now coming out suggesting a super majority.

When this sort of thing is said, it can make people think they don't need to vote, and its a foregone conclusion.

I know I'm preaching to the choir here but....

If you do not like the current government, you do need to go and actually vote in a different one.

There is often less of a majority than anyone expects because the swing voters everyone wants don't always turn up on the day.

Its more important than ever that everyone in this country has a say.

Be counted - vote.

Support your friends and neighbours to vote. Watch the kids for half an hour so a busy mum can make it, drive a disabled neighbour there. Help people to organise a postal vote who may need one.

I agree. DS has decided not to vote again and it infuriates me but it’s his choice 🤷‍♀️ I just told him not to whinge about the government then if he doesn’t exercise his right to have his say. He’s apparently fine with that 🙄

Everyone should vote or just the people making the "right" choice? 😂 As you are reminding people to vote in your title but then go on to say, if you are sick of the current government, which indicates you don't really mean it.

Exactly this! It's basically saying: 'Everyone must vote... for anyone but the Tories'. A sentiment many would agree with - but then say that!

Also, for those saying otherwise, a protest vote is STILL a vote.

Apologies for confusion

My intention was to be non partisan

I refer to dissatisfaction with the current government because a lot of people complain about the state of things but change doesn't happen without actively choosing it.
