To be irritated to death by Rob Beckett on Radio 2?

I find him tiresome and silly.

Yep. I think they are both as funny as fucking fuck all. I don't begrudge them making a podcast, or other people liking it, but I think they are sheeeeeit.

DH was at a conference and Rob Beckett was on for 30 minutes in the evening after the presentation dinner. Apparently he was a complete knob and behaved like an absolute diva.
The organisers told DH about his demands regarding transportation etc, and the photo ban. He wanted in (on a red carpet) and out, as quickly as possible and no one was even allowed to speak to him. Especially his driver. I can’t remember for sure but he was paid around 30K a hell of a lot of money for being a nightmare! And not in the least bit funny!

Bring back STEVE ALLEN

Late thirties here and finally, genuinely like Radio 2 - RB and all those mentioned a big reason why. They're genuinely funny.
Couldn't stand Ken Bruce as found him like a doddery great uncle type - clearly we have different tastes OP
