Also I take my laptop home every night, as I work over the weekend and at least 2 hours every evening.

LOVEVOOK Laptop Backpack Women 15.6 Inch, Backpack Womens, Rucksack Bag for School College Work Travel University, Water-resistant Commuter Bag with USB Charging Port, Ladies Backpacks, Navy Blue https://amzn.eu/d/g14tExD

I have this one. It's not my normal taste but it has a million pockets and roomy enough for all my resources, laptop and lunch. I got this colour as it's on offer but there were nicer versions of the same bag

I’ve been a teacher for 30 years and I’ve never carried a laptop to and from work. Why do you need a special bag?

I've been a teacher for 25 years. Cos I want one.

I have a north face bag op and it’s great (can chuck it in the wash) it was 70 quid and it’s black and I hope to get several years out of it

You guys are hilarious, firstly querying why a teacher might to bring a laptop home, and secondly suggesting bags for several pounds!
OP I'd get yourself over to TK Maxx to view a selection of decent bags at a good price. I got my very attractive Day Birger& Mikkelson backpack from there a few years ago for about £50, (with a laptop compartment) and the one I bought DS from there for his first year at uni is still going strong 10 years later.

i earn less than a teacher but I have a nice bag because I like to buy things once and have them last and I save up for nice things and take care of them very judgemental of you to assume that a teacher can’t afford nice things really

i second @Hopeandmoss - I have a Mia Tui bag which not only fits my laptop in, but can also slot over the handle of my trolley (and incidentally, over a suitcase handle for holidays!). I love it 🙂

This comes with an extra strap to wear over your shoulder/across your body.

I like the olive colour

I use this but I'm not a teacher so don't need to take loads of books home for marking, fits a laptop small and large notebooks, pencil case, glasses, chargers and other bits and bobs, it has a phone pocket on the back too

Mate. This is not ok

AllProperTeaIsTheft · 09/06/2024 20:22

Why is it odd to take your laptop home?! I have a school laptop and at home I have a shared family pc. I work at home at the weekend and sometimes in the week and I don't want my potentially confidential school stuff on my pc.

QuillBill · 09/06/2024 20:33

That depends on when you leave though. We have a good head who treats us like professionals. Some people will stay at school after the children and arrive before they do. Others arrive ten minutes before the children and leave when they so so they will need to do work at home.

I use a TK max £1.00 shopping bag
Nothing else is big enough
I take my lap top home every night

Giraffel · 09/06/2024 20:41

I've got knomo and fossil laptop bags and backpacks but lately I've been using a £6.99 corduroy tote from Amazon.

coodawoodashooda · 09/06/2024 20:42

So many recommendations! Can't wait to examine them all. Thank you!

Teacher here of 30yrs. Technophobe. I bring mine home every night. Need it in case I have to e mail cover for classes if I'm.inwell- too much hassle to be off tbh. At weekends there is usually something that needs to be done. Mine comes in a canvass bag- stylish- no. If it's raining it goes in a carrier bag and then the canvass bag

BCBird · 09/06/2024 21:16

The cheaper the better for me. I.need new trainers before an expensive laptop bag.
