Does she think she’s Teflon. He’s excellent.

Peregrina · 24/05/2024 11:42

The irony of all this, is that if she had not tried to sweep it under the carpet, it wouldn't have blown up to the proportions it now has, and this enquiry wouldn't be happening.

TM is an evil snake.

Not a fan, but I didn't get the sense she was acting at the time. Unlike her nibs here.

He took her tears as an opportunity to check his messages 🤣

I think he was logging the 🐊 tears time to settle the office sweepstake

@DanielGault

Yeah it's always in the public funded organisations. Absolutely littered with corruption and rot.

Not all in my experience.

nauticant · 24/05/2024 11:43

I actually believe her about there being some things that she didn't know but the reason for this is that Post Office had a culture of hiding things, of difficult quetions being extremely unwelcome, and of averting one's gaze from the bad stuff. She participated in that, and enabled it, because it suited her.

See that?

"I asked the question" then "I can't recall the question I asked but I imagine I asked xyz"

She talks about her imagination as if it's a talent, all the imagining he does

Quirkyme · 24/05/2024 11:44

Cheers @Nauticant 👍!

OMG, if I was one of the SPM's I would find it so difficult to just sit silently when
PV is claiming how much she cared about the SPM's.🤬🤬🤬

Loving this guy! He really doesn't pull any punches does he?

Fab isnt he,, a tongue like a rapier..
Shes so reptilian,, I should bitch slap her,
And what with the rapid blinking..

She was responsible for the culture once she'd joined, so she deliberately didn't want to know difficult things. If we take her at face value.

Which I don't.

Quirkyme · 24/05/2024 11:45

She's rapid blinking because her engineer husband hasn't programmed her properly today. She's glitching

Lunde · 24/05/2024 11:45

She "cannot recall" what she said but then has a detailed memory of what she "thought" wishes she'd said

Haha I’ve got it playing on my laptop while I’m working, I can’t see it unless I click on it to look, I had to look at that point as it went silent and thought it had cut out, I was just in time to see him whip out his phone - I did laugh!

DanielGault · 24/05/2024 11:47

He's brilliant!

TheChosenTwo · 24/05/2024 11:48

The classic “you’re on mute!” 😂

murasaki · 24/05/2024 11:48

He's doing a better job than Mr Henry.

Agree. I find Henry performative

Quirkyme · 24/05/2024 11:49

Give us the names and stop fucking about

Peregrina · 24/05/2024 11:49

Yes, much better than Henry. She didn't need to turn on the tears for Henry.

murasaki · 24/05/2024 11:49

Quirkyme · 24/05/2024 11:49

Yep, and his aggressive stance made her look like the victim which was unhelpful.

Susan's chair?

JadeSeahorse · 24/05/2024 11:50

The one all encompassing question I would like to ask is did not one of these directors query why there were suddenly all these alleged dishonest SPM's?

Surely they KNEW this wasn't the case.
These accusations were just a stealthy way to put the PO back into profit.

What happened to the thousands and thousands of pounds that were paid by SPM's out of their own pockets when the money never disappeared in the first place?🤬🤬🤬

I see she's passing the buck again although I do believe many of these other directors are also responsible.

Susan's chair?
