Socks with slides and flip flops

Aarrgghh! These are the new old men in socks and Jesus sandals. Who told people they look good because they don't, they look ridiculous!

It does the same thing to me when I see a woman wearing open toed heels with tights, even flesh coloured or thin ones. If you need to wear tights, get toe-less ones. Seamy toes poking out of sandals looks bonkers.

@FelineGood76 That reminds me of my maths teacher in the 80s. Always had tights with sandals. Even then the kids (being the little delights that teens are) commented on it. (They also picked on the history teacher's bow tie and the music teacher's rather flamboyant Elton John inspired glasses so it wasn't personal.)

Even worse is when I was gardening in my outdoor crocs without socks last summer and I picked up a small slug to relocate it away from my peas ... it fell off the trowel.

Wellie wanging looks weak compared to Croc flinging 😆 it went at least 25 metres! Then I had to hop that far to retrieve it then all the way back to go and wash it!
