To think it’s perfectly fine to eat food that fell in the sink?

Washing some berries over the sink. One dropped. I picked it up and ate it, zero hesitation. My friend who was round at the time saw me and was horrified and claims sinks are the germiest place ever. I think berries could come from anywhere, so surely no harm done?

I wouldn't have eaten it. Not sure why - I'd eat it if it fell on the floor. I'm not sure I can rationally explain why I view the sink differently. I clean it more often than I clean the floor!
