Rob Lomas burgled farmer fundraiser

Hi all, I just wanted to bring your attention to the fact there is a fundraiser set up for the burgled farmer's legal defence.

Aware there is another thread discussing this bit fundraiser buried in there a bit.

Has that been confirmed? What does non dwelling mean?

@DoreenonTill8 @AGlinnerOfHope clearly stated "what if", nowhere did she state facts about drugs etc.

The thrust of my point was that we simply don’t know much about this case.
people shot in the states for home invasion were lost, turning their car around etc.
Until we know more, we can’t assume it was justified.

I donated anyway... If the burglar was shot in the back I would still be happy to donate. I am not sure why someone would think the guy is "sitting on millions" - farmers are being driven out of the industry in their thousands as it is thanks to rising costs and supermarkets refusing to up the amount they pay (Morrison's being a notable exception).

So I'm happy to help a farmer out.

Unfortunately lots of people think farmers are ‘sitting on millions’ as they have land, tractors etc, what they don’t realise is the majority of equipment is on HP or rented and the overheads on a farm are massive, they just assume everything is fully paid for and we’re all minted.
We’ve been burgled several times in the last few years, all the police do is give a CRN and tell us to claim on the insurance so I can totally understand why he did what he did.

Your point was perfectly obvious. I think people just like to be difficult.
