Testing for Covid then staying in…what’s the deal?

I haven’t been feeling well for a couple of days, so out of curiosity I did a Covid test and it was positive - never had it before.

So, once I feel better can I go out - or am I still obliged to stay in? Most people I know aren’t even testing.

I work on a hospital ward and we currently have staff with covid. The NHS policy states to continue to work but wear a mask and decontaminate between patients which is what is happening here. So I guess you're free to do what you want. Covid is now like a cold / flu in that most people will get it but just carry on with how they normally would.

I assume you didn't visit ICU,s or covid wards ?

Irrelevant. People were having other treatments cancelled whilst "some" nurses and doctors had nothing to do and had the time to make tik-tok videos! My OH had his chemotherapy cancelled and delayed by six months! It wasn't all about Covid, entire hospital departments, wards, etc just shut down leaving staff with nothing to do.
