I’m praying so because while I thought two brought challenges this is off the scale.

Yes!! Mine turned 3 during the lockdown and it was the most hideous time of my life I nearly had a breakdown she was awful! She's 6 now and the most lovely girl ever unlike her big sister

Oh. Sorry but it gets much worse!

my dd is now 12 and just……about ok most of the time.

Yes I think 18 is a turning point with the more challenging characters. They were a long 18 years. He's lovely now.

Oh God, the crying, the grizzling, the moany whine. It went on and on and on. Soon as they went to school it was like a switch being flicked off.
Dgc2 was a pretty awful toddler too. screamy, bitey , generally difficult . Again stopped when started school and is the most thoughtful, hard working teen imaginable.
It does get better.

Yes, my first was a lovely baby, but an absolutely HIDEOUS toddler/preschooler. Turned 4 and had been mainly lovely since, and she's now a teenager!

My theory is they all get you at some point, they can lull you into thinking you've cracked it and got the perfect child and then the monster shows itself.
