Cat walked through paint all over brand new drive!

Dh was painting garden furniture on our front lawn. When he came in for lunch he did not account for our cat jumping on table (never does this). We are now left with a trail of painted paw prints on our 2 month drive!

What can we do?? White spirit did NOTHING.

My ddog had a pink eyebrow a few weeks ago. I left it on... Can't imagine picking it off would have gone down well.

Piss paw planning to be fair

Haha 😂

LeaveTheClocksAlone · 21/04/2024 21:45

We need a photo of both the drive and Lord Puss 🐾

minimadgirl · 21/04/2024 21:59

It will wear off eventually.

Don't worry when they did the base for our garage in the only 5 minutes my husband dared leave it to go to the toilet , a sodding peacock walked across it. Lovely bird prints across it and marks from where it's tail brushed across it.
It makes me smile everytime I walk in there.
However slightly less publicly noticeable than cat prints across a driveway.

That rack of paving looks superimposed on there - do you mean that's what your new drive is made from? I'm confused

yes I was showing what the drive is made of

Our cat walked across our newly painted fence and then onto the wheelie bins. I was quite sad when we moved house and had to leave our unique bins behind.
I do understand that bins aren’t as big a deal as a newly paved drive though!

JustJoinedRightNow · 21/04/2024 22:03

Ah ok thanks OP. Sorry your new drive got wrecked. Hope your cat is ok with the paint on his paws.

If it makes you feel any better OP this was my reskimmed window ledge improved by the cat.

I love your window ledge.

SoupDragon · 21/04/2024 22:06

I think a jet washer would shift it. It would also shift the sand that's down between the pavers though.

HappiestSleeping · 21/04/2024 22:08

The important thing to know here is what type of paint it was, and whether the paving is permeable?

deClutterBugz · 21/04/2024 22:14

Jet wash will get most off, the rest will fade over time.

OneBadKitty · 21/04/2024 22:47

Nail polish remover

Grimchmas · 21/04/2024 22:52

Fill in the missing bits so they look like proper paw prints 🐾

Allthegoodnamesarechosen · 21/04/2024 22:55

Nitromors.

TinyYellow · 21/04/2024 23:00

At least it was your own cat. I have permanent paw prints in the concrete of my garage floor and scratches on my car because of other people’s pain in the arse cats.

Infracat · 21/04/2024 23:04

Jetwash will sort this.

I always thought you couldn't see claws on cat prints?

There are cat prints in the concrete on the path under the corner of the cladding on our house. They've been there since before we moved in so we have no idea when they were made but every time I see them I always wonder about the cat that left them.

There are cat prints on ancient manuscripts and Roman tiles too so they've been doing this sort of thing for millennia!

PuneorPlayonWords · 21/04/2024 23:37

I've a lovely paint paw on my desk from when the painter left my office window open. I don't own a cat. It was next door's arsehole come to check out what was occurring 😼

SabreIsMyFave · 21/04/2024 23:41

We need a picture of the paint paw prints on your driveway @Cramberry

Jimmyneutronsforehead · 22/04/2024 01:14

Gonna need to see the culprit

I love this. I’m imagining OPs cat calmly looking on understanding that it’s simply a cat thing to do.

RogueFemale · 22/04/2024 01:27

I'd be more worried about cleaning the cat's paws to ensure no harm to cat.

OPs already stated she’s cleaned the cats paws. They’re now dyed a sage colour. ☺️
