Do you still think your adult children are beautiful

I have little ones who I think are the best looking children I've ever seen 😁 do you still continue to think this as they get older?

I think mine are - but it’s been confirmed externally by others. It helps that they have amazing personalities too - which always makes one look even better.

That sounds like a perfect combination!

Mine are both beautiful. They were both beautiful babies and have grown up to be beautiful adults. They are my best creations.

DS1 has more my colouring but DS2 has my pale blue/grey eyes but his dads skin tone and black hair. Both have dads nose but my face shape.

I don’t feel like this about my kids and they are still young…does that mean there is something wrong with me?

I think my DD is average looking, but she is such a gorgeous personality and has beautiful hair and I adore her. I think DS is objectively more beautiful as he has really massive blue eyes but I’ve seen kids as cute and cuter!

Im more interested in their personalities and talents than their looks.

As anrule, your kids are always beautiful, others are usually ugly. It's one of those great paradoxes!

I have 2 young adult sons and I think I see them objectively. They’re both good looking, but the eldest is stunning. He’s tall dark and handsome. He shrugs off his beauty but I see women staring and fluttering at him.

My daughter has gorgeous deep chestnut coloured hair which glints in the sunlight with strands of gold, red and brown her hairdresser has told her to next colour it as it is so unusual and she hasn’t. It is just gorgeous. She has amazing big green eyes and just is beautiful. I love that she is a scout leader, mentor, and house captain and despite a physical disability she helps to teach 3/4 year olds to swim. Her disability is not obvious and she is tall and slender (size 6) but it’s her hair - it shimmers as she walks. She’s got a good height to her. But she is a beautiful soul and very intelligent. She’s applying to Cambridge and is Head girl. But she is so thoughtful.

My son is much younger and he’s smaller than average but has a same colour hair and beautiful brown eyes. He has long lashes. He’s small but he has a cheeky smile and the best snuggle and cuddle ever. He is so gentle and caring and I adore him.

God yes !! My boys are beautiful and just the loveliest men .. I still look at them and think how did they come from me

My DC are 25, 26 and 30 and they are very lovely looking and navigate life in a way that leaves me incredulous that they're mine. They smell great too and I love burying my face in their hair.

I think they're both really good looking. Beautiful is exceptional and I'm not sure i ever thought that! I thought they were gorgeous when they were young of course.

It sounds awful but \i wonder if the parents of less conventionally attractive kids can be objective? maybe some are cursed with objectivity!! nobody would ever admit thinking their toddler was average I suppose.

i have always been told what a lovely polite boy he is 🥰

he is confident and happy though had been though difficult times this makes me happier than anything

My DD is 30….I think she is just lovely….pretty face…clear skin…thick long hair….thick brows…..slim …..her 2 DDs are the spit of her and at 5 and 9 are just lovely too

Same here. I actually forget. Dc1 is biologically mine. They look quite alike, and people say dc both look like me. Despite everyone close knowing our fertility journey. Even I think she looks like me. Just way cuter.

Ha! So funny. I get this a lot - people tell me earnestly how like me DD looks. I point out it'd be pure coincidence if she did!

I am sure it's biology - we nurture a small helpless thing, and of course we think it's the most beautiful thing ever!

Don't have kids but I would imagine most parents would say yes as it's a biological thing surely ?

I once was at a gig with a partner's mother and sister, where my partner was performing in a band. The setvwas going well, he was drumming away, the crowd were all bouncing (including his mum).

When the set finished, I asked if she enjoyed it and she said "I grew him, inside me, I grew that!".

He was chuffed to hear that later 😂

It's remarkable how many people on this thread have stunningly beautiful children when so many people one sees irl are average or plain.
