To leave and live my last moments in Spain

Hi my friends
I am nearly 40 and now dying of incurable ‘c’

former hard working career .. lost house and my debts are nearly £100k through the fat evil monster

Put my kids through the best education .. trips abroad, dream holidays

n fortunately oldest has become dad no 2
Broke my nose .. chases me (I could write a book)

my question is

and my vision is going as I’m dying my mortgage in Buckhurst Hill was £1k a month and now my private rent for a small apartment in Chelmsford is £1800 a month

should I get a one way ticket to the sunshine?

If you are set on going to Spain, do it. The medical services are excellent, and most hospitals have English speakers. But please bear in mind that you will need to set up a proper funeral plan in advance, because they will expect this to be put into action immediately. It's a much quicker process there.

What are you looking for in Spain? Warm weather? Rekindling old memories?

Personally I don't think I want to spend my last days in a hospital where nobody speaks my mother tongue & nobody can't visit easily.
I think I would stay I the UK but move somewhere by the sea, with a big-ish hospital nearby and walk & paint while my eyes let me, eat nice things and probably MN far too much.
I definitely wouldn't spend it in fear & poverty of I had other options.

If you dont need sny treatment op then jump on the next flight to Spain and live your best life for as long as you can. In the nicest way possible, the authorities in Spain can be very slow so if you don't think you have years and years left, i dont think being caught is a huge concern. All the best x
