To think that Pontypandy would be a better place if Norman left?

Now I’m not suggesting Sam stops rescuing Norman … but …

Does anyone else detest him? He is insufferable.

I’m basing my answer on Fireman Sam from the late 1980s. I’d have to say YANBU OP but I’d also say Pontypandy would be a better place without Dilys too! Her shrieking voice, “NOR-MAN!” is still something I can hear 30 odd years later. Soooo grating! She was always flirting with Trevor the milkman too from what I remember and was a busybody.

He's a little shit and no mistake!

This Jamaican FS voiceover always makes me laugh like a drain.

I always thought Norman had ADHD and eventually somebody would notice. That was 10 years ago though. Poor Norman.

@tinytemper66 that's not how welsh people speak. It seems to me like a mockery of the Welsh accent.

@TinselTarTars I’ve been saying for years how the hell do they get a decent home / car / life insurance in Pontypandy?! I never even thought about the council tax!!
