I am happy to report that at half past six this morning himself was happily engaged in his current engineering project which involves digging a tunnel from the landing under my bedroom door. He says if he had seen aliens he would have asked to borrow their laser guns because digging is very hard work with paws.

Still here

One was very anxious to come in and tell us about the serpent she slew. But yes, both returned safely!

Not seen our neighbour’s Billy Big Balls cat strutting home this morning yet 😬🙀🐍

That made me smile having had a cat who's main aim in life was pushing things off things.

One was in safely and there was a pile of sick in the kitchen which suggests the other one has survived the night as well!

Mine had a little sleep in from his spring fever and waking me at dawn, so didn’t see him till nearly 7. Maybe he had a busy night.

Mines just done the stinkiest shit in her tray while I was having my morning coffee, that's our usual morning routine 🤢

Why, oh why was the thread deleted? It brought me joy.

I read that half asleep then couldn’t find it this morning and thought maybe it was a random dream but no it was real!!

Mine appears unscathed from a night out but she’s a feisty little bugger so may have been fighting off serpents all night…..

I am sorry to be the one to tell you @DominoRules , but look at your cats eyes, she is clearly an alien, they have done a decent job replicating the fur and the whiskers, but they can never quite get the eyes right. Don’t be alarmed if you look outside your window and see people wearing protective clothing and breathing apparatus, they are here to help you, the one with the jangly keys is the one in charge.

Mine obviously took her serpent fighting duties very seriously, she was in and out like a yoyo from about 2 this morning. Now having a well earned nap on the stairs, so she can also kill any humans that don't notice her.

😂I had forgotten about that until I saw this! Mine woke me up at 5am to tell me something, perhaps the serpents were out there after all.

@viques you’re right, I should of guessed earlier when she let DH stroke her, normally she bats him away! 🤣

Mine went out at 2am and I haven't seen him. That's not unusual though, he often goes gallivanting for hours. Then sits on the fence shouting at us but refusing to come in.

He has a friend who's started shouting at us recently too. We call him Big Ginge. Didn't see him yesterday though, maybe he's been off fighting serpents, he looks the sort.

If I recall correctly the warning was for the next 3 nights, so please do remain vigilant everyone - we can’t relax yet.

Aliens would not take my two. They saw how needy they are. Boy cat is curled up happy and girl cat is running around causing havoc.

The look in your cat's eyes says he/she is not to be messed with. Perhaps your kitty saw off the malevolent force out last night and saved all the cats from whatever.

Mine is a serpent slayer. He popped in an hour after I got up to brag about his prowess. He also head bumped me until I looked him to his already full food bowl. He's gone out again now to keep watch.

All fine here. I actually woke up at 5am and looked around for him, he was stretched across the bottom of the bed.
