What you advice be to your 31 year old self?

…need a bit of pick me up. I’m 31, single for about 7 months after an 8 year relationship. Lonely, tired and hopeless…

Thank you for this. I read all the comments and whilst they are different I kinda see a pattern advice of ‘act now’.

I’m financially in a good(ish) place. I have a good chunk of money in savings. Do pay into my pension (although probably not quite enough) but I have been since I started working at 21.

I have put on a bit of weight, close to half a stone. I’m still a size 8-10 but like myself more when I’m on the smaller size.

Have been seeing a counsellor and making good progress…

Struggling with the thought of being on my own though and looking after myself. Making connections… socialise and get out and about 😞

Try bumble bff to meet new friends, can't recommend it enough
