I am SUCH an oversharer. Anyone else?

Got the ultimate ICK about myself tonight.

I'm a fairly open person but sometimes I just overshare that bit too far that results in me at 10.30pm sat unable to get the thing I shared out of my head - playing on repeat and CRINGING at myself.

This seems to happen so regularly to me!

All day every day. It makes me absolutely cringe later on.

Fellow oversharer here. I had a glass of wine (yes, it only takes 1 glass), at a social event for a choir I had joined 2 months before. They now know all about me, my friends, my family, - I reckon they know more about me than the people who’ve been members for 10 years.

Ugh yes - I’m another one. Also, although I’m a pretty good listener, I can’t seem to leave any silent spaces in a conversation. I just spew out anything that’s in my head in the gaps. Also too much grinning and cracking jokes. I’m a bit of a tit tbh 🤣

Nothong wrong with oversharing just know your audience!

@Whalewatching you sound exactly like me. Also to fill the silent awkward gaps, I tend to ask a lot of questions i don't always give a shit about the answer though to keep the conversation ticking along.

Yep and it freaks people out...so I have no friends. So I just chat bollocks on my online game instead. Game of thrones winter is coming if anyone is interested.

I am a teacher and I had taught three lovely students all the way through from year 7- year 13. In our last lesson together they recounted everything they knew about me from my stories in class. They knew everything-my schools, unis, grades, party tricks…it was hilariously terrifying!
