To have fallen in love with a puppy

This is MN so everyone will say I am BU and dogs should be banned but a golden lab pup came in a cafe when I was having lunch and I have lost my heart.

So AIBU to exchange my children for this adorable dog (not really but you know)

and even if you don’t like dogs AIBU to think you’d have loved him too!

They improve with age too.
My golden boy is 10 now, and the most adorable, and affectionate lump.
And still stunningly handsome.

Me too! I often think it happens the wrong way round and the puppy time should come at the end of their life - after you've had years of friendship together. You'd appreciate it more, knowing the kind of adult dog they were. Now that I know the adult dog, I'd love to spend some time with the puppy again - but, alas, that little dude is long gone!

For all the laughs, shocks and late night debates I've had over the years on MN, I still think that threads featuring pictures of pets are my favourite!
