To ask what age you think a woman can be the most attractive

I look at some mature women and think omg you are so glamorous, its as if once you reach your 40's you become somewhat invisible? is this true?

I find older women have much more character, self esteem etc. I am 33 by the way and I like how I look the older I am getting.

My face looked the best aged 34. My body aged 21.

Personally I have found women 60+ the most attractive to me.

I'm mid 40s now but it's probably been since I was around 30 I've found that age range most attractive it started with Susan Sarandon

Is 61kg at 5'5 too thin in late 30s? I'm getting worried after reading about weight as you get older!
I'm a pear shape too, so curvier bottom half, tiny waist, athletic top. I have faint laughter lines, and have noticed a little ageing for the first time ever. i have been under a great deal of stress, though. I'm praying a summer holiday and a lot of a rest will help. 😭I've always looked young for my age, but I don't think I do anymore! Sorry, I probably should have started my own thread!!

No, not at all. I am 54 kg at 5'8', and I don't consider myself too thin. By 'too thin' I meant the sort of women who used to be idolised for their appearance, the absolutely emaciated ones. The world has moved on from that, though, and about time too.

Thank you for replying to my panicked post! I have a relative who keeps telling me I'm "too thin." IMO society has forgotten what a healthy weight looks like. I am just so worried my face will age too much, but I love being slim. I feel better in clothes, and fitter running around after my young dcs.
I freaked out a bit when I saw a couple of signs of aging, i am pretty tired, run down and stressed though. I'm delusional but hoping summer break will reverse this! 🤣 I'm also drinking loads of water, moisturising etc!

Your relative has no idea what they are talking about! I am like you, I prefer being on the slimmer side as my clothes fit better and I feel more energetic. As I said, there is a HUGE difference between being slim, which is healthy and ideal, and being emaciated which is as bad or worse as being obese. I think that emaciation was the ideal for so long that the backlash was savage, hence the 'real women have curves' movement.

I honestly think in early 30s you are at your peak.

Mayhemmumma · 13/03/2024 18:55

I was naturally pretty early 20s but looked my best at 35 - groomed, nicer clothes and hair etc and exercised a lot - both of these times I've been happy and not fat - slim albeit size 10/12.

I'm 40 - fat, dull and exhausted and it shows.

@Elvis1956 Ahh I see thankyou for explaining. Yes I agree nothing wrong with saying someone much younger is good looking as a non sexualised opinion.

Sorry just hear about too many older sleazes on here who are after women their daughters age.

winterplumage · 13/03/2024 23:17

I think attractiveness is subjective and anyone can be attractive or otherwise at any age, though perhaps not sexually attractive to people far younger or older than they are!
