To say that Grease 2 is way better than Grease

I'm watching it now with my 14 year old step daughter. The songs are brilliant and everything about Michelle Pheiffer is perfection.. especially her hair!
Who agrees with me?

I prefer the original Grease but the songs in Grease 2 are far superior.

Michelle Pfeiffer is so beautiful in it, she's stunning. And Michael is absolutely gorgeous of course!

Me and my daughters also love the bit "what would they say if the knew it was Michael" 🤣 absolute favourite bit of the film.

It's just brilliant, I went to primary school with a girl who was dying of AIDS (80s) and she loved this movie. At playtime she'd sit on the bench with a blanket at we'd preform Girl for all seasons for her and a few times we'd convince a boy to play Johnny and do the whole bowling scene.
God knows what the teachers thought.. bunch of 8 years olds singing about I'm going to score tonight!

That’s heartbreaking.

I played ‘back to school again’ to my DD on Monday morning, while she was getting ready for school after half term 😂 She actually joined in with some ‘retro’ dance moves.

It is sad but I hope it made her happy. It was an amazing school, they had a big assembly about AIDS (she'd caught it from a blood transfusion) and told us all that when she was well enough to be in school we were to all make sure she felt included.
She'd sit in the ' quiet area ' they had in out playground, meant for reading, wrapped in a blanket and we'd perform Grease 2, Dirty Dancing, Joseph's dream coat and I also remember doing the Cher song from Mermaids. I hope it helped her family, it's really sad.

I'm a teacher. I sang "let's bowl, let's bowl, let's rock and roll" to one of my y1 classes as we set out on a September class walk. Several parents came on this walk for safety purposes. I was new to the school, so a fairly unknown quantity.

One of the parents on that walk told me at parents evening a few months later that me singing that meant that I was no longer an unknown quantity in her eyes, but the absolute best teacher for her daughter.

Several years on, I'm still the girl's favourite teacher ever. Apparently, it was all the singing and fun that swung that accolade in my direction!
