I'm watching it now with my 14 year old step daughter. The songs are brilliant and everything about Michelle Pheiffer is perfection.. especially her hair!

I used to watch it with friends at sleepovers when I was 11 or 12 and I think we did used to fast forward Michael singing “behind my charaaaaaade” 😂

I've just remembered the hours I spent trying to sing "make my stamen go beserk" with a "sexy growl" like Paulette.

When I was a child, at our school we got to do group performances in a end of term show. I didn't get picked for dance team the first show they did. I think I ended up being a random urchin in Les Mis.

The dance team did Grease 2. In full circle neon skirts with matching neckerchiefs.

I'll never get over it.

I memorised the dance to Girl For All Seasons. It was beautiful. Each "season" had a girl come on and do a solo and it sort of grew in a canon. It was perfection.

About 25 years later...I still remember every step.

It's just brilliant, I went to primary school with a girl who was dying of AIDS (80s) and she loved this movie. At playtime she'd sit on the bench with a blanket at we'd preform Girl for all seasons for her and a few times we'd convince a boy to play Johnny and do the whole bowling scene.
God knows what the teachers thought.. bunch of 8 years olds singing about I'm going to score tonight!

I really wish the cast had got back together during COVID and done one of those video montages that was all the rage at the time.

Grown up Paulette growling about her stamen with the rest of the cast would have been immense
