It’s very silly looking, like half the jumper has unravelled. But I’m old and unfashionable.

Garlicking · 03/03/2024 03:36

luxe knit material with long sleeves, what more could you ask for?

The rest of the jumper, perhaps?

@Elber, OMG! 🤣🤣🤣

BOOTS52PollyPrissyPants · 03/03/2024 07:22

It is just tacky and who the hell would wear it with their boobs all out on show. Hidious.

Agree with what @chatelai posted. I'm 53, and saw worse in the hedonism of the 90s. Let people wear what they want. I hope that young model woman doesn't see thread. My daughter is 25 and although she wouldn't wear this kind of outfit I don't think it's nice berating a young woman from doing so. Her body, her choice eh

I'm more that 20 years older than you and I can recall the awful topless dresses from the 1960s and, no, they were not skirts as people thought the last time I mentioned them! Imagine a dress with a very low back worn back to front!

daisychain01 · 03/03/2024 14:06

So classy and tasteful (snigger)

I'd never heard of those before! Just googled.. surely you were supposed to wear something over your chest? Were they beachwear?

exaltedwombat · 03/03/2024 15:51

Might we be confusing the model's right to wear whatever she chooses with the perfectly valid opinion that it looks terrible?

But this is nought to do with the model or her right to choose what she wears .
This outfit ( if you can call it that) will have been styled for the photoshoot .

Not the model's choice .

And yes , I reserve the right to say and think it looks awful , no redeeming features .
And not even quality as the Care Instructions state it might colour transfer .
So expensive tat that could ruin any other clothes you wear it with !

She didn't choose it. She's a model, she wears what she's given.

I know that. You know that. But old reflexes die hard….

Rosestulips · 03/03/2024 19:24

you know, this jumper might be useful to wear when out running when my trunk is sweating and my arms are still cold!

But it’s a pretty odd thread really, how did you even come across this item of clothing

Teenagehorrorbag · 03/03/2024 22:41

It's utterly hideous. The lilac looks slightly better as the model has a crop top instead of a bra underneath, but whatever you wore it with - it looks awful. Cheap, tatty and a weird sort of knit pattern combined with too long, baggy sleeves that would make it impossible to eat!

But the main point is - who wants woolly sleeves if it's warm enough to wear little else? If they styled them over a tshirt it would make more sense, but in these pics you'll either have sweaty armpits and/or a freezing body. Very odd....

But as a frumpy middle aged Mum I'm not their target demographic, so what do I know.......Grin.

Well we’ve all clicked on and seen that there’s 25% of everything and some of us are going to be intrigued and check out what else they have..
Sterling piece of publicity!

Tbf they could have 90% off and I still wouldn’t want anything!!

I followed a link on Style and Beauty for a different cardigan and had a look round the site.

It's the outfit that's the issue, not the garment. Trainers and socks with shorts is always going to look bad. Those shorts are hideous. A long armed knitted thing with just a bra under is blind to look silly.

However I imagine there are ways to dress the top to make it look nicer, and maybe even to dress the shorts

TempestTost · 04/03/2024 00:33

Those shorts are some of the more horrific things I've ever seen.

The top is awful too, it just makes me contemplate her boob job.

I saw nipple tassles and glittery things hanging off penises at raves in the 90s - those were the days!

Pretty heinous top - great boob showcase - live & let live 🙌

Elephantswillnever · 04/03/2024 09:54

If you wore it over a normal fitted t shirt it’d be fine. The styling is obviously not aimed at me

Lemonlula · 04/03/2024 11:24

Made me think of a relative slowly knitting a jumper as a gift, but has had enough & just decided to call it done 😂
The shorts are uglier, the arm/neck warmer would look better in a thin knit worn like lilac outfit, though I'm clearly old as would want a boob warmer.

I've seen more hideous, often 😳revealing outfits on these fashion sites and not sure what is worse that people are choosing to wear them or that will go straight to landfill if they don't.

These ultra cropped jumpers are everywhere. My teen dd has one… but doesn’t wear hers with a bra and nothing else on top.

KTSl1964 · 04/03/2024 14:04

Awful -= something or Katie Price perhaps. 😁

I see your strange arm-scarf thing, and raise you these sheer flared trousers Grin

Good god!
You won't be able to resist. Yes, I will.
How could you say no? Very easily.
A look no one will forget. It will indeed be seared into their brains forever

fightingthedogforadonut · 04/03/2024 18:25

Fucking ugly!! Even the beautiful model cannot make that garment look remotely wearable.
