Not aibu just intrigued. This thread was done on here ages ago and it was so fun. I have two:

Pasta is gross, I'll eat it but its not delicious as people make it out to be its cold slimy dough.

People who run into traffic to cross the road when theres a crossing fifty feet away deserve to be really lighly knocked over to teach them a lesson.

Wine being horrible is turning out to be a popular opinion (I used to like wine, now...no).

Mushrooms 🍄 are horrible things. Truffles are worse. Who thought fungus was a good food to eat? (not envy)

High heels should be banned. Flipping dangerous.

The quality of TV programming falls in direct proportion to the increasing variety of TV stations.

Anything with a vanilla flavouring. This is a lifelong dislike of mine that has grown and is now bordering on manic. On the upside it means that most puddings in restaurants are off limits to me, which is good for the old waistline.

And the number of cooking programmes on telly, recipe books in the shops etc. (especially those weird ones you’re not meant to try cooking from like the Gordon Ramsay one) increases in inverse proportion to the percentage of the population able to cook.

I hate binge watching tv shows! It makes it go too quickly. One episode per night for me 😅

The life of intense media scrutiny and high profile social appearances inflicted upon the British royal children is a kind of child abuse.

School is largely a waste of time for the majority of children - its greatest social function is allowing parents to remain economically active.

Most people are still a bit racist in some way or another. They are just much better at saying the right things in public.

British humour isn’t really much better than most other countries, and the way some Brits like to self congratulate themselves on their self-awarded hilarity is distinctly unBritish! (Of,course there are definitely some standout British sitcoms - Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, The Office etc, but nowhere near enough to warrant the hype)

Most, if not all, profiteroles are shit.

Totally agree load of commercial nonsense that creates stress anxiety needless expense & endless landfill. No issue with the religious aspects but the commercial aspects are awful.
