To think WTF - adult diaper fetish

TedWilson · 14/02/2024 23:14

Scrolling merrily on Facebook. Imagine my surprise when amongst the cat videos and pages of holiday places I like, up comes a post from a page called White Underbelly with a man in his pants expressing his love for adult diapers. Especially wearing them to the pub and pissing himself in them because it turns him on. WTAF. How has this infiltrated my fb??

OP posts:

Nappies, not diapers, unless posters are American.
(Braced for the pile on!)

When did perverts and perversions become 'kinks' and normalised. Let's call them what they are.

Certain 'romance' novels don't help either.

Disagree, people should be able to do what they want as long as they're not hurting anyone. I bet 50 years ago anything more than missionary was perverted!

Startingagainandagain · 15/02/2024 09:07

Gross.

But ultimately grown adults can do whatever they want in the privacy of their own home or specialist clubs as long as it is consensual and their kinks is nobody else's business.

The only aspect that is an issue for me is if they bring these kinks in public places, forcing people to witness them and/or be affected by them. That's never acceptable.

Beyond that there have been weird fetishes since the beginning of time...that's nothing new and just part of the human psyche.

iceskater1 · 15/02/2024 09:14

I think there is a way on FB to find out why you have been recommended a certain thing, somewhere in the settings (Google it)

From what other posters have said, it sounds like this 'Soft White Underbelly' is a documentary series that is actually presented quite tastefully. Maybe it has come up if you watch a lot of documentaries/ exposee/ true crime type things.

MinnieCauldwell · 15/02/2024 09:27

Google David Challenor, he abused a child in his attic whilst dressed as a baby, oh and rhe cherry on the cake? he was a scout leader....

People can do what they want behind closed doors, as long as it's consensual/legal.

It's the normalising of it.

And who decides that? Didn't work too well in 30s Germany.

Wtf

Are you on glue?

Or are you seriously claiming that the discrimination, oppression and eventual mass murder/genocide of people based on their race, religion, sexual orientation, disability is the same as telling some weirdo who gets off on wearing nappies that they're a perv.

Wow. This place gets weirder

Howlongdoesittake · 15/02/2024 09:35

Years ago I joined the Samaritans and people would pop in for a chat/support etc. One regular chap would pop in so he could talk to someone while sitting in his adult diaper with a dummy. He always wanted a woman in with him. I said nope and was told I wasn't suitable for their organisation. He obviously had a hard on and it was a sexual fetish. Grim.

I was going to say this. This issue here is that this man is involving people who don’t want to be involved - this is considered very poor by most involved in BDSM. In fact, it is a kink all on its own but I can’t remember what it is called.

Having videos of this pop up on FB is also involving people who don’t want to be.

But he's not doing that. He took part in a documentary interview which was very clear about what the topic was. An algorithm without sentience has then decided to show part of this interview on a Facebook reel to someone.

The man himself isn't sneaking sexual videos of himself onto people's social media feeds.

I am raging on your behalf, he was involving you in a sex act without your consent and the Samaritans were complicit. They prioritised a male pervert over a female volunteer. How awful for you.

Should be shamed IMO. And don’t try to persuade me it isn’t at least paedophilia-adjacent. It’s a particularly unpleasant fetish, and any amount of people trying to pretend it’s all about “comfort” and harmless “regressing” aren’t going to convince me…

This.

Hagbard · 15/02/2024 10:49

What about consent? Forcing bystanders to be part of someone's sexual fantasy?

The nazi argument 😂

Its called a boundary violation fetish. If he had his page settings on 'private' and marked his photos as sensitive, you wouldn't be able to see them.

It was baxk in the 80s, not sure that excuses it but I hope it wouldn't be allowed today. I left because of it.

DespairAgony · 15/02/2024 14:27

The current landscape of accepting and incorporating men with fetishes as an 'identity' has emboldened these sorts of perverts who were previously ashamed enough to keep it to themselves.

CatamaranViper · 15/02/2024 14:51

Hmmmmm, I don't like this at all.

I'm all for people being able to enjoy their kinks and fetishes, but do it in your own space.

Also, ignoring the obvious reasons why this is bad, he's going to stink. It won't just be him being turned on, the people around him are going to smell his (probably) dehydrated, warm urine whenever they go near him or anywhere he has sat if he's leaked at all. Does he shit in the nappy as well?

Just gross.

Soft White Underbelly is a series of absolutely wonderful interviews - all done by Mark ( forgot his surname )

He delves into the history , the family background and life events to bring the individual to where they are now in life

Usually lives's torn apart by addiction , abuse , neglect , criminality and mental health .

I watch hours of them and find the interview style and respectful questioning to be fascinating

A typical episode will be a drug addicted mum who's lost custody of all her children - it then becomes apparent that she had been sexually abused by several generations of family members , neglected and introduced to drugs at a very early aged age, forced into prostitution by those same family members , leaves home to try and escape - to find herself under the control of a vile pimp .. who will inject her with drugs to keep her submissive under his power while she's raped and assaulted on a daily basis , while she describes herself as worthless

Mark interviews a whole spectrum of the community .. it's a real insight into society and services support

It's definitely worth a watch on YouTube

Sounds thrilling Confused

I don't think she reported for that. Why does the OP need to keep posting the cartoons? Something weird going on here.

LlynTegid · 15/02/2024 20:57

What perversion someone does in their own home is their own business as long as no-one is directly or indirectly harmed.

However, the man concerned should be banned from the pub concerned, and I would support a wider ban if they operate a joint banning approach- some towns if you are banned from one pub, you are banned from the lot.
