To think WTF - adult diaper fetish

Scrolling merrily on Facebook. Imagine my surprise when amongst the cat videos and pages of holiday places I like, up comes a post from a page called White Underbelly with a man in his pants expressing his love for adult diapers. Especially wearing them to the pub and pissing himself in them because it turns him on. WTAF. How has this infiltrated my fb??

Should be shamed IMO. And don’t try to persuade me it isn’t at least paedophilia-adjacent. It’s a particularly unpleasant fetish, and any amount of people trying to pretend it’s all about “comfort” and harmless “regressing” aren’t going to convince me…

I couldn’t care less what consenting adults do in private but I do object to being subjected to detailed demonstration when it’s unexpected. Pages/groups like that shouldn’t be public.

And, yes, I’m all in favour of kink shaming when it’s in my face!

Being caught short and shitting yourself would fill most people with horror doing it for pleasure is just weird. The soft play scenario was off the scale that was just gross. If need be set that up in a sex club not an actual kids facility.

Actually, I do tend to agree that there are certain things and 'kinks' that do deserve to be shamed, if brought into the light of day for unsuspecting people to hear about or see. Isn't the fact that they're something shameful kind of the point? Breaking the taboo? I guess for some of these people, forcing knowledge of their predilections on other unwilling participants is part of the fetish, and that is disgusting and deserves to be 'shamed'.

Look, do what you want in private, if everyone involved is a consenting adult, but the general public doesn't need to know.

…this is such a random thought haha. Two questions - what made you consider this and why wouldn’t you feel as repulsed?

I feel like I’d find it more gross because I imagine women to be more rational and less depraved (generally) when it comes to sexual behaviour.

like if a man was wanking on the bus I’d be like yep nothing new here. But if a woman were wanking on the bus I’d be like what the actual fuck and would feel more traumatised

I’m with the bring back “kink shaming” brigade. Do not care what you do in your own home but a grown man deliberately pissing himself in public for a sexual thrill is just disgusting.

The public aspect is what gets a lot of these people off so no I’m not a bigot for not wanting to be co-opted without my consent into someone elses sex life. It’s called boundaries. They are using other people as props so no you don’t have to respect that and not wanting to sit next to man in an adult diaper peeing himself to get a hard on doesn’t make anyone a Nazi.

Soft White Underbelly is a series of absolutely wonderful interviews - all done by Mark ( forgot his surname )

He delves into the history , the family background and life events to bring the individual to where they are now in life

Usually lives's torn apart by addiction , abuse , neglect , criminality and mental health .

I watch hours of them and find the interview style and respectful questioning to be fascinating

A typical episode will be a drug addicted mum who's lost custody of all her children - it then becomes apparent that she had been sexually abused by several generations of family members , neglected and introduced to drugs at a very early aged age, forced into prostitution by those same family members , leaves home to try and escape - to find herself under the control of a vile pimp .. who will inject her with drugs to keep her submissive under his power while she's raped and assaulted on a daily basis , while she describes herself as worthless

Mark interviews a whole spectrum of the community .. it's a real insight into society and services support

Soft White Underbelly is a really interesting site. He interviews people in L.A. who are the 'underside of US society, the other side of the American dream, addicts, alcoholics, prostitutes etc. He's very respectful and it's an eye-opener, and leaves me filled with compassion for these lost souls, so many of whom are smart, witty and doing their best to survive. He interviews some regularly and the best ones are when someone has got clean and are recovering their lives. I do wonder if being interviewed and having someone see them as a real person, not just a stereotype, helps them.

It's not a pro-pervert site, promoting that type of behaviour, it's not promoting any of those behaviours. It's saying, here is a person with serious problems - how did they get to this point?
