I'm with you there!

Ferfecksackmammy · 14/02/2024 20:08

60 - 63 early 60s 64 -67 mid 68+ lateWink

sparepantsandtoothbrush · 14/02/2024 20:08

I think mid is 64/65/66 in my head so I'd say late but if you want to be mid 60s then I wouldn't argue!

Redshoeblueshoe · 14/02/2024 20:08

It's late, and you know that.

BitterAndOnlySlightlyTwisted · 14/02/2024 20:08

To my mind mid-sixties is 64-67-ish. I hung onto mid-sixties in my mind until I was 68. I doubt anybody else cared, to some I’m just old

adriftinadenofvipers · 14/02/2024 20:08

Mid, I would say!! #vested interest

Mid. It’s closer to 65 than 70 isn’t it? Late 60’s to me would be 68/69

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 14/02/2024 20:10

Just be 67 and own it.

You are, after all, younger now than you'll ever be again.

NotAgainWilson · 14/02/2024 20:10

Does it make a difference? I understand it does if you are in your teens or 20s but after 50 I would say that is either early or late, no middle?

thistimelastweek · 14/02/2024 20:11

Redshoeblueshoe · 14/02/2024 20:08

I suspect I would like you in real life.

Your 60
61,62,63 early 60s
64-66 mid 60s
So 67-69 late 60s

Doltontweedle · 14/02/2024 20:11

Ferfecksackmammy · 14/02/2024 20:08

60 - 63 early 60s 64 -67 mid 68+ lateWink

Exactly this.
@Redshoeblueshoe how does she know this exactly when a lot of people are disagreeing?

xxxjanxxx · 14/02/2024 20:11

I would say 67 is the new 40! (ok, maybe 50 if you insist! 🙄) #alsovestedinterest

EmergentTulip · 14/02/2024 20:13

You don't reach your late 60s until you are 69 and a half. That's a fact.

I'm guessing you're not there yet.

It's nearer 65 than 70

And it's working age.

So mid 60s

I own being 67.
Only last week I went down the yellow slide at soft play. The yellow slide!!!

I would just prefer to be mid-sixties

Not joking.

I read your post in the voice of my sister.

Straight talking. Very funny.

I'm 64 and I reckon 60-67 is early 60s, 68 is mid 60s and 69 is late 60s

I'm 60 and I already feel that I'm regarded as old, particularly in work! I hate it! I've as much to contribute as (and more than) most of the youngsters!

ani4ani · 14/02/2024 20:51

Borderline mid 60s!

Also agree with this!

This is true.

60-64 is early 60s
65-68 is mid 60s
69 is late 60s

Works for all decades and is the law AFAIK.
