MIL/ general IL threads
Wedding & hen do
Why won’t my house sell
CF
Parking
Politics (even though they’re largely pointless 😂)

NachosAndCheese · 11/02/2024 17:11

CF

Parking.
Lending money
work colleagues being twats

mehyeahok · 11/02/2024 17:14

Very mood based clicking here. If I feel aggy I might venture into an AIBU that looks obvious. If I want a kick up the bum to tidy I'll click on a "what is one thing you do...", frumpy i'll head to S&B and then remember I don't care, head to relationships if I ever need reminding not to date... etc. I like the snapshots into what people get up to because you can tell they aren't bots (is it just me or are they getting weirder?)

BlindurErBóklausMaður · 11/02/2024 17:15

Spotify Playlists if the 80s are involved

Why are people so thick and can't speak proper English (always, always, always started by an OP who makes about 40 mistakes in their own smug ranting)

Skincare routines

Perfume

Holidays to places I've been or know

Teacher bashing

DRS1970 · 11/02/2024 17:16

What should I do...

PrincessHoneysuckle · 11/02/2024 17:16

Line eye threads.
Cf threads of any genre.

PinkEasterbunny · 11/02/2024 17:17

House guests
Step parenting
under eye concealer

Kittynoodle · 11/02/2024 17:20

Anything cost of living related or skint.

Wonder why!!! 😀

doubleshotcappuccino · 11/02/2024 17:20

Massive Salads and the never ending chicken suggestions are great but it's going to be hard to beat a good toxic sister or friend one ..

GRex · 11/02/2024 17:36

I always open step parent ones; DH and I have neevr been married before, our parents each stayed together, even our siblings are on first marriages. No idea why.

Love a CF tale.

Anything clearly about a kid within a few years age of DS, regardless of topic, and I'll be there.

Least likely to open or respind if it's about hair, nails, fashion, other visually superficial things that make no sense to me in words.

Fallenangelofthenorth · 11/02/2024 17:41

@NachosAndCheese forgot about twatty work colleagues. That's another favourite!

QueenBean22 · 11/02/2024 17:43

Snobby etiquette dinner expectations

EarthlyNightshade · 11/02/2024 17:50

Who's unreasonable, me or the teacher?
Should I agree to drive this person to work for the next two years?
Should I allow my 12 year old/19 year old have an alcoholic drink?

CheeseSandwichRiskAssessment · 11/02/2024 17:53

Wedding/Hen/Stag cheeky fuckery, "Am I a snob," Where should I go on holiday, anything with an innocuous title and lots of posts- guaranteed to be a good fight going on 😂

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 11/02/2024 17:54

takealettermsjones · 11/02/2024 16:48

Anything with CFs, pretty much anything to do with food. I usually ignore financial/inheritance/how much is your mortgage stuff.

Yes this is exactly me! I love a good CF thread.
I also enjoy a good parking thread.

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 11/02/2024 17:56

I really don’t want to hear how MNers are rolling in it, with no mortgage, heaps of savings etc Half the time it won’t be true anyway.

ALunchbox · 11/02/2024 17:57

I like all the topics people normally moan about: finances/money/mortgage/salary and class.
I also like threads about jobs when people share what their jobs are like, what jobs they wished they had done.

I avoid: style, CF, MIL, parking and other half might be cheating.

TheBeeHives · 11/02/2024 18:01

Affairs or relationships, various shops, business/company related, then also food and cookery, and if there are any, any about the military or security services / espionage

LarkspurLane · 11/02/2024 18:05

"Bin liners" or some such with 567 posts. Especially in AIBU.

EarthlyNightshade · 11/02/2024 18:07

I remember clicking on the "protestant tray bake" one. That did not disappoint. I think it's in classics now.

FUPAgirl · 11/02/2024 18:09

Definitely parking with a diagram!

Cotswoldbee · 11/02/2024 18:25

Love a pension and/or retirement thread.

CheeseSandwichRiskAssessment · 11/02/2024 18:44

"Is this enough food," usually 3 pizzas for 100 guests

TotalAbsenceOfImperialRaiment · 11/02/2024 19:10

Legal disputes. There is so much misinformation spouted on here. I can't keep tabs on all of it but I do what I can.

Mazuslongtoenail · 11/02/2024 19:11

CFs. I wish there was a dedicated board.
