If you were to meet any Mumsnetter, who would it be?

And in what capacity? So it could be someone you just think seems really nice, and you could chat and have tea together. Or someone fun for drinks and going out. Somebody with whom you'd like to have a good debate and set the world to rights. A Mumsnetter you'd like to go shopping with, as you like the sound of their style. Or a wise, kindly soul whose advice you would unashamedly seek! An ideal dinner party guest, perhaps?
Looking forward to reading your replies (have name-changed though, as it just felt a bit awkward using my own!). I must confess to being shockingly unobservant when it comes to names on here, even if I have received some wonderful replies and perspectives over the years.

Xenia really is called Tracie and lives in Clacton in a 2 up 2 down with 5 kids with 3 Dads. She would slag you off a bit, and then ask for a ciggie.

Not RTFT but has anyone said @neverdropyourmooncup? She seems to know a lot about everything, and has lots of charisma and life experience. Also, she’s frank, witty and self-deprecating.

I’ve been on here many years and I’d say @MrsTerryPratchett is another person I’d say was a consistently safe pair of hands (in the sense that in daily life I think, I wonder what she’d have to say) and I also want to mention @LadyKenya who I think is pretty circumspect and even-handed.

You three could always be my Brains Trust if you’re not otherwise engaged🤪

There used to be somebody on the education boards called Lolasmiles, she was nice to everybody and gave really good advice. I have a clear mental image of her in my mind so would like to see if I'm right!

No, Xenia's the lawyer whose kids never applied to Oxbridge but went to Bristol. Haven't noticed her for a few months now, but I might possibly be hanging out in non-legal circles.

I hope so as she always gave amazing advice.

However, I remember a lot of people taking against her during the pandemic when she started a thread about not being able to visit her holiday home and I don't think she posted much after that, unless perhaps she name changed.

I often think about her though whenever I think about Mumsnet.

This is the poster I was desperately trying to remember the name of. I do wonder what happened. She was scrappy and I loved it.

Someone trolled about her in a horrific way I believe. Said they were her with a name change and that her child had died.

I think that was what happened anyway. For some reason a few posters REALLY hated her and took every opportunity to sneer at her. It was not on, she did nothing to deserve their scorn.

I like and admire a lot of the regulars on the women’s rights board—real feminism with a dash of humour too.

Lang Cleg was one wise and well-informed poster who I think got banned. That was a few years back, when there was a level of censorship (mustn’t hurt men’s feelings when they’re breaking our boundaries) that I think has now eased up. I always hope Lang Cleg is still here under another name.

And @Hellofabore who I sometimes disagree with but who has the stamina to hold back armies. I can't imagine what she looks like, but probably Amazon-like. She reminds me of my always determined BFF who is so different from me but we respect one another even when we piss the other off.
