Do you mind if passengers in your relatively nice car put their feet (with shoes on) on the seat / dash / other parts off the floor?

Just got a new Volvo xc90. When my friends go out, on long journeys some of them put their feet on the seat / centre console. Is it a big deal?

I've told a three year old she has to take her shoes off if she wants to do that in my car!

My car is a shit tip and I would very abruptly bollock any passengers who put their shod feet on the chairs or centre console. On the dash is utterly insane as per previous posters - the risk of life changing injury is too great.

Use your words op. It's not ok for your friends to treat your car like that.

Unless the passenger is inviting a broken pelvis and severe back issues- riding with feet on the dash is a health hazard if the air bag goes off.

Press the saftey route vs no feet o dash mandate (as that would have me seething)
