DD3 is going to be 8 on Sunday, we are having her party on Saturday, obvious theme all about Easter ETC.

DD3 has just thrown up every where (well in a bucket) she has a very very high temp, her ears are hurting and so is her head!

Now I am a person who has only just recently started making plans as before I was so scared that my DDs would be ill - well sick TBH, but recently things have become so much easier and now this!

I will have to take tomorrow off work (not that I am that bothered by that as my DDs come first) but I have just agreed to DD sleeping in my bed and let DH have her bed!

Please Please let this be an ear infection and not a bug! PLEASE, otherwise I will cancel her party on Saturday, and that will really upset her. Have already told her that she can take her sweeties in on Tuesday instead of tommorrow, and her middle sister is going to take her Easter egg in for her Teacher (and she was so chuffed as I got the Teachers name on it!)

Sorry for the rant, but why me? (I know it has to be someone, I would rather wish sickness was banned in my life!

You are so right Solitaire. I am rather pleased that DD wanted me, scared yes, but pleased.

Told DH last night that I could cope with DD through the night, and I did, only 1 time he came in - what for I have no idea as I was dealing with her, all he did was turn the light on and then go back to bed! WTF!!!!

Sometimes he cannot turn off!

Well at least he made the effort. my DH has always been the king of 'didn't the kids sleep well last night'. i swear to god the man could sleep through an earthquake. In fact he did a couple of weeks and go, come to think of it so did I

Solitaire it normally is the other way round in this house! I honestly do not hear DC, you could tell if I did!

Its odd having her in bed with me, lets hope she is not ill tonight!

hi pink. Just finished work. Glad to hear she is getting better. Anti b will really start to kick in tomorrow.

pinkbubble · 21/03/2008 23:08

DD has been a lot livelier today and actually ate something. The last time she was sick was at 3am. So a good few hrs ago, she is back in her bed tonight so hopefully will get a good nights sleep!

It looks like the party will go ahead tomorrow after all, which amazes me at how ill she was yesterday!

PS Mehdismummy if the car seat Pinkchampagne has is not suitable, I do have a britax freeway in the garage, although is scruffy it is ok to use (as in never been in an accident) PS I live opp PCs parents.

hi pink. Glad she is better. Thanks for offer on carseat! Just got to work out how i am gonna get it! Its only to use for one day really on the 30th. I think we are gonna go to beefeater near duke of yorks. Heard its ok? Have you been there? My uncle will be driving so will have to leave ds with my mum and get carseat with him. Save me some cake!

pinkbubble · 22/03/2008 20:29

Sorry all the cake has gone! Decided at the last minute to make a huge chocolate cornflake nest and filled the middle with mini eggs. Stuck the candles round the edge, very simple and everyone thought it was a good idea. Even impressed the MIL!

Party was good, shame about the weather as we were going to be outside for all of it. But we made a ramp indoors so we could roll eggs in the warm, and hid 55 mini eggs in the conservatory and lounge. Unfortunately we lost 2 and can't find them anywhere!

pinkbubble · 22/03/2008 21:10

Have just sat down after wrapping her presents up and have a nice cold glass of wine - yum!
