5 day headache, covid negative...wtf is this?

Just that really. Felt like hell since Xmas Day, started with big headache that will not shift, now have shivers and slight cough. No blocked nose or sore throat but head is absolutely banging without painkillers. Covid neg but feels exactly like it...anyone else?

We've all had this, all negative for Covid. It's rubbish but it will pass!

Dh had it for 8-10 days before /over Christmas. Mainly cold and cough, but Blinding headache that wouldnt shift and decogestants seems to make worse.

I've had a tickly cough and the headache for a few days. Paracetamol hardly touching it. Then, 30mg of codeine this afternoon and finally it lifted. May get a decent sleep tonight 🤞

@Meredusoleil I was tested after going into maternity triage, I'm not sure if there's any tests you can buy but health professionals can obviously test for it if they've done so with me. Not sure if they're saved for more vulnerable people
