To ask if you like Iced Coffee?

Having always had a hot coffee, I recently tried the Coffee with the cold water instead of hot.
I couldnt decide whether I liked it or not? Probably not tbh.

Wondered about others? Do you like it? Is it better in the summer when its hot?

I love iced coffee (and tea) but wouldn’t be making it with cold water. How did you make yours?

I used to work in a hospital where a lot of the patients loved a cold coffee where they would ask for it to be made with the coffee dissolved in a small amount of hot water and then topped up with milk. I’ve never tried it made that way but I assume it’s like a cold latte.

I bet this would be nice with a baileys over it in the winter 😋

I live in Cyprus and it's a frappe here. I have mine with all milk in the summer, lovely 😊

No and don’t get it. When I lived in the US I felt everyone was walking around with iced coffee regardless if it was scorching hot or absolutely freezing ! Never understood why would anyone drink cold coffee…

Yup. I probably have hot coffee most often but I do drink iced coffee fairly often, all year round.

@Pozz it's a spoon of coffee in a glass, little bit of water, wizz it up a bit with a frother tool (can't remember the name) then top up with milk, or half milk half cold water or all water. Ice and sugar optional.

Think of cold chocolate milk versus hot chocolate...both good in a differant way. Same with iced coffee versus hot, though the cold ones are way sweeter than I would've had a hot coffee.

I love iced coffee.
A shot of strong espresso over ice and cold milk.
Sometimes I swap the ice for a scoop of vanilla or chocolate ice cream. Delicious.

I like both hot and cold coffee but much prefer cold

I love iced coffee in the summer, but it has to be just coffee, ice and milk. Annoys me that I have to quiz places as so many offer iced coffee and it turns out it's something horribly sweet out of a carton and served over ice

Yes, if it is done right. I first had it in Italy in the height of summer - a lovely espresso with some sugar poured into a glass of ice. No milk.

I don't usually sweeten my coffee but it need ps it for iced coffee imo.

I love an iced coffee.

Sometimes a standard iced latte which is fresh espresso poured over milk and ice cubes.

I prefer mine poured over ice cubes then shaken in a cocktail shaker, it changes the flavour of the coffee and makes it smoother. Then I bung a load of oat milk on top.

We get some Cypriot guys that like us to blend a double espresso with just a couple of ice cubes so it’s nice and foamy and then a splash of milk over the top. This one is good to get your caffeine kick but not if you want to sit and enjoy a long drink!

Also can’t beat a good frappe, which is just coffee, milk and ice blended together into a thick coffee milkshake.

Totally out of the box but mix espresso with tonic water and ice and you have refreshing sparkling coffee. That one is marmite though.

No, but then until I read this thread I thought you couldn't have iced black coffee (I don't like white coffee). Maybe next summer I'll give it a try.

Yes but don't you make it hot then cool it? I don't make it with cold water. And I only have it in summer.

I love a skinny vanilla iced latte! So good!

I miss Ice Caps! Tim Horton’s coffee in general is bitter and disgusting (Second Cup was my favourite Canadian chain), but ice caps are great.

Only if it's very very hot outside, like 35C+ and I can't face hot coffee!
