Whether it is a big one or an inexpensive one... I like:

  • Stationary from muji (have to buy in-person... love the heavenly smell and music in the stores.... and the creamy high quality paper and lovely gliding pens!)
  • Blood oranges when they are in season
  • Perello olives as DP loves them
  • Sourdough with the gummy texture from a naice bakery
  • Really big pants that you can pull up to your belly button.... love putting a new pair on
  • Big bit of white fish from the fishmonger
  • If I feel out of sorts a pastry - even a pale bendy one from Tescos - is very nice
  • Toenail polish that I will use exactly once when in big sainsburies
  • Mystery biscuits from lidl middle aisle
  • Impractical top with flouncy sleeves from upmarket independent shop... then spend week kicking myself for being extravagant ...

Nice skincare - I treat myself to my favourite brand Medik8 in the Black Friday sale, some old favourites and new things to try.

L’occitane soap.

Scones from the bakery section at M&S, they have the slightly crunchy outside (it might just be an egg wash) and are my favourite kind of scone.

Nice clothbound editions of classic books.

notebooks and sticky notes for every occasion.
