Aibu to point out that 'Mumsnet' is currently trending on Twitter/X because a labour MP has (rather comically) reported it to the police?

Dawn Butler has reported Mumsnet as a whole to the police, for talking to each other and Having Views she does not like.

Interesting to see just how far and wide Mumsnet is seen as a transphobic forum. Would be great to see mumsnethq reflect that. Is this what they Mumsnet should be known for? Does it reflect Mumsnet values? What's the role and responsibility in transphobic hate crimes?
We all know the abuse female MPs have to deal with online. Now Mumsnet is becoming a source of that too. How depressing

I’m thinking of making my own way there as I don’t want the kids and animals disturbed by a Dawn raid (get it?)
Are we going no comment in the interviews?

Talking of despicable any good hints on the best way to clean out the drain in the fridge?

One of those brushes designed for cleaning metal/silicon straws. Tip: don’t leave said brush soaking in diluted bleach , forget about it and go on holiday……. Was just a bit of metal with 3 bristles when I returned :(

Actually I like frittata. You can get away with a lot more with a frittata than you can an omelette.

My favourite though is tortilla. Made with all oil and the leap of faith upside down tip onto a plate turnover.

This is going to be brilliant like the Iceland women's strike of 1975 except at Christmas which is even better and we'll all be arrested so we can't feel guilty for all the unpaid caring we don't do, nor the unwrapped presents, unplanned and uncooked meals.

In fact I was already fed up at the start of December and totally don't mind not working, wrapping presents, cooking, caring for children or others AT ALL. I'd much rather be in a cell discussing crustless quiches and politics with you lot. I think we should turn ourselves in in large numbers (explaining that we're just helping the police out since DB had already reported us).

Someone should warn the police that they're going to need to get Waitrose in and more staff. And a massive creche for all the women who have children and no-one else to look after them (safeguarding innit). Goodness knows who they're going to get to staff it though.

but factually, trans women are not biologically women. And do not have periods

and being reported to the police for stating this simple fact really concerns me
