To embrace the grey at 37?

So I'm going grey. I'd say looking at my parting only, I'm at 25%.

I haven't dyed my hair since February this year. I'm considering going to a professional hairdresser to start dying a silvery grey to blend everything in.

I do not like the mousey brown / blonde/ grey that seems to be to go to in your 40's / 50's when a haiirdresser does a professional cover up.

AIBU to do this at 37? Everyone I have spoken to says wait until 50's??

I take care of my appearance. I just don’t think dye, Botox, fillers and make up are part of that.
I'm quite sad for you that you think they are essential.

Each to their own . I'm not sad for people who look old or have wrinkles or grey hair or blond hair . It's each person's choice!

I went fully grey at 39 and have had far more compliments and people asking me what they should ask their hairdresser to do to get “my colour” than I ever did when I was dying it brown. I started going grey at 16 so it was time.

I still like to look nice and wear makeup and look after my skin etc, I don’t consider it “letting myself go”.

Whoever it was who said Judi Dench was in her 70s, she’s actually 89 today - her birthday was in the paper. So her grey hair can’t be that ageing if she can be mistaken for nearly two decades younger than she is…
