Do you warm the car before taking the baby out?!

They can’t wear a coat in the car seat and obviously it can be very cold in the mornings. I take out with jumper on and hope it’s ok until car warms up when we drive… but apparently car should be warmed before? Do people have time for this?!

No I didn't. But my dp always warms or cools the car remotely for me. Sometimes from 100s of miles away. Makes me smile. But not enough to remember to do it for him!

I also just use a blanket. I don't like idling the car, I only do it to help defrost the windscreen (and also pour cold water on to speed it up)

No, never did. Coat, gloves, hat and a blanket. But then I never had those puffy or padded coats so the straps fitted properly.

I also drive with the window open. I dress for the outside unlike some people who warm their car so much they drive around in tshirts and shorts 🙄

No, your baby being cold for a minute or two will not harm them
