It’s great he’s cooking, but he’s taken to wading his jeans very low so there is a massive amount of bulbous hairy flesh on show. I can’t believe it’s great for DS15 to see either.
I asked him to pull his trousers up so he turns it onto me, says he has to look at me being gross, and before we know it hes got super angry and we are in a row. Then he says,‘it’s Friday night and I’m going to ask you to literally stop talking’ so I make to leave and he says ‘so I’ve got to cook all the dinner on my own then?’
I said I need a moment to calm down and came in here to grumble to you guys.

I actually do think it is unreasonable to tell somebody how to dress, but I also think it's thoroughly unpleasant to see your spouse turning into a slob. Wearing your trousers so the waistband is on your waist is not exactly "up to the armpit".

I couldn't get that excited about this tbh. I certainly don't think it's a "decency" issue to have an inch or so of flesh visible when you're cooking with your own family FFS. I'd also feel a bit nagged if I was being told how to dress in my own home.
