Had mine yesterday. Feel a bit off today, tired and heavy and slightly achey as if I could be coming down with something. Hoping it will pass off quickly and not get worse!

How are people generally finding the booster affects them this year?

None at all, apart from a slightly sore arm.

Tenderness at the site but nothing else

Same for me

ssd · 20/10/2023 20:11

Slightly achy atm, otherwise fine, had flu at the same time.

BorisIsACuntWaffle · 20/10/2023 20:14

Arm felt like I'd been punched in it for about a week.

bronkie · 20/10/2023 20:14

None

CesareBorgia · 20/10/2023 20:16

Sore arm and felt a bit tired. Nothing like the old days of Astra Zeneca knocking me for six though!

anon0007 · 20/10/2023 20:16

Achy arm. That was it.

nocoolnamesleft · 20/10/2023 20:17

Had Covid one side, flu the other. I had a bit of a headache that evening, and the Covid arm was a bit sore the next day.

avocadotofu · 20/10/2023 20:17

Only a slightly achy arm for a couple of days. I had the flu jab at the same time in the same arm so I figure that contributed.

SallyWD · 20/10/2023 20:18

Nothing, just achey arm

TolkiensFallow · 20/10/2023 20:18

Had flu and covid together.
covid gave me a sore arm
one of them gave me diarrhoea

Milliemoos5 · 20/10/2023 20:18

Personally I was knocked out for 2 weeks straight but appreciate that probably isn’t the norm

Poblano · 20/10/2023 20:19

I felt a bit tired a few hours after having it and had a stiff arm. That was all.

I had the flu jab the previous week and felt tired and headachy for a couple of days afterwards, but less of a sore arm.

Copasetic · 20/10/2023 20:20

Quite stiff and achey in the top part of my body for a few days and very tired.

mummymayhem18 · 20/10/2023 20:24

Like you I had the Pfizer booster yesterday morning. Sore arm now and have been feeling rough today and still am. Nasty head, achy, just feel yucky. I have been feeling a bit low for awhile though. I do have various health conditions so not in the best of health.

Whatsherusername · 20/10/2023 20:25

Flu jab in september was fine, had covid jab on tuesday and have been ill since wednesday, sleeping on and off, painful joints, head ache, generally feeling shitty and brain just not working properly, but have had this with all my covid jabs and have several underlying health issues, partner had it at the same time and was absolutely fine. Bit id rather feel ill for a few days than get covid again as that really knocks me out for weeks

TammyJones · 20/10/2023 21:11

Sore arm and bit tired for a few days.

Busbygirl · 20/10/2023 21:18

Tinnitus with mine (again)!
Lasted 3 months last time.
Decided I’m not going to have another one now. Slightly sore arm too.

Em3978 · 20/10/2023 21:24

Flu in right arm, nothing. Covid in left arm, a bit sore.
A little bit tired for the week after....

Then I got Covid. Knackered!!! In bed for a week.
Then I got tonsillitis. In bed for 3 days.

Not sure I've recovered from any of it yet!

howdoesyourgardengrowinmay · 20/10/2023 21:41

Nope, nothing, felt absolutely fine

Muchtoomuchtodo · 20/10/2023 21:45

Had both at the same time a few weeks ago.

my covid arm was sore to roll onto at night for a couple of days. Other than that it was fine.

Midnightkittycat · 20/10/2023 21:46

Flu in one arm, covid in the other. Covid arm hurt most.

I felt hungover for 48 hours. Headache, tired, legs a bit achey and heavy.

DinnaeFashYersel · 20/10/2023 21:49

I've had 3 boosters.

First sore arm
Second blinding headache and ended up in hospital overnight
Third sore arm

Off for next booster in a few weeks.

Rockbird · 20/10/2023 21:52

Flu and Covid in an arm each. Both arms a bit sore for a day and that's it. I've never had a reaction to a Covid jab.

MoreToastPlz · 20/10/2023 22:02

Thanks everyone, sounds like majority of people haven't had too bad a time which is good!

I'm having a really lazy day, and fortunately my appetite hasn't been affected so eating chocolate and drinking tea.
