So last night I dreamt I was dating Moira Stuart. Absolutely no idea where that came from in my subconscious, I haven't seen or listened to anything with Moira in for a few years.
I mean obviously she is beautiful but wtf?
Where does our brain get this stuff from?
Also in my dream she was wearing double denim (sorry Moira)
Anyone want to share theirs?

Not weird- I dreamed that my favourite band frontsman (who I've had a crush on for ages) was laying on the floor under DHs desk in our home office. I couldnt see his face bit I knew it was him. He was singing and playing guitar but also doing something to the computer. Sadly I woke up before he extracted himself.

I once dreamt I was married to Andre Previn, whom I vaguely remembered from the Morecambe and Wise Show.

In my teens I had a dream that I was on MSN talking to various friends, and as often happened in real life I got added to a group chat with loads of other people. Then, someone I didn't know in this new group started talking to me in a new window, a private convo just me and them.

After a few dream minutes I realised it was Elton John.

I must have been thinking about this thread as had a very upsetting dream last night / this morning.
I could see that my beloved cousin, who died over 20 years ago aged 40, was walking uphill in a throng of people towards me. I was absolutely overjoyed to see her and could not wait to be reunited with her, but kept losing sight of her in the crowd. The devastation and grief I felt when the group passed me and she wasn't in it was overwhelming and I am still reeling from that feeling an hour and a half after getting up.

I dreamt my preschool child was floating around the house on a giant fishfinger

When I was expecting DS1 I had a dream where he was knitted. So a totally normal baby except his skin was neat stocking stitch. Weird. I often have odd post apocalyptic type dreams too.

I had this but a horse.

Did you ever read Charlie and the glass elevator as a child (Ronald Dahl) I used to have nightmares similar to your shard dream because of that book.

I also started having really trippy dreams after I began taking magnesium and selenium supplements before bedtime.

Not me but my former partner.

Woke me up in the middle of the night in a panic telling me he had stolen a fire engine and the police were chasing him so he had hidden it in my garage and had moved my car into the road! And that I must not answer the door or tell the police what he had done with the fire engine!

He then lay back down and went to sleep!

We lived in a town house with a single story garage that most definitely would not fit a fire engine in it!

When my friend was pregnant with her first child, she had a dream that she'd given birth, but the baby was a jelly baby (a black one) and she kept it in a match box tucked safely inside her armpit.

A big hug with her was exactly what I was longing for. And was crushed to not get it.
But ... a kind of good outcome is that I looked for, and found, a lovely photo of us together and have put it in a frame.

I had a recurring dream when I was younger that all my teeth were crumbling away and I was constantly having to spit bits of tooth out. It was really vivid and rather horrific.

Not a dream but one of my lads in his baby walker used to see Moira read the news and watch her on the screen fixated 😆🫶

I was Robbie Williams song writer ( I’m originally from the same area as him) I woke up and realised 1. I can’t write songs, 2. Robbie doesn’t know who I am 3. Guy chambers I am not 😂

@neeneedtonamechangeforthis reminded me of a dream that a boyfriend was having when he fell asleep on my leg. I was trying to get out from under him and he said (while still sleeping), "You can't go now, the lights are on red!"

Dreamt that my husband and I went to some sort of fashion show, catwalk was on a river, we sat in stands on the bank with …. Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash. Like they were our best friends!

I imagine that if we did go somewhere with them we would not get a word in edgeways 🤣
