Woken up this morning with the dreaded beer fear at my behaviour when drunk

The embarrassment will fade, don't worry. I hadn't been drunk for about 15 years then got accidentally hammered recently! It went way beyond being embarrassing. It was humiliating! I was mortified but now it's a distant memory and will never happen again.

imnjust not sure this will ever pass

I hadn't seen some family members for a quite a while and I was very excited. They kept topping up my glass (spirits) and I was knocking it back. It was one of those occasions where I didn't realise I was getting very drunk. I don't think I said anything terrible but when I stood up the room was spinning. I passed out on the guest bed and was sick in the bed!! I'm a very reserved person and this was so humiliating for me. I feel like I was stripped of all dignity! I mean no one saw and I cleaned everything but they all knew. My children mention it all the time and I'm very ashamed.

Used to get this all the time...now I just don't drink hardly ever. I mean obviously not at all right now cause I'm pregnant 😀I still get embarrassment/shame for stuff I did 14 years ago!! Definitely not worth it.

I can't stand drunks. It's mortifyingly dull listening to them. They think they are funny, interesting, 'speaking the truth', know what they are talking about, whilst actually they are talking shit and come across as boring and an embarrassment to themselves. I particularly hate it when they start 'space-invading'.
