A Question: Why is it that good old fashioned motherhood has gone out the window, and has been replaced by a library. Mothers who bring up their children buy the book (or at least claim too)who will quote chapter and verse on shite they have read, when common sense is all that is necessary?

And you are still feeling bitter about that a few weeks later? Wow you really do have too much time on your hands.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 06/03/2008 22:28

I agree the whole spirit of mumsnet is posting your opinions and opening them up to discussion, and feeling free to do so. .
The only place for namechanging is very serious matters, or for pissing around.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 06/03/2008 22:29

As if it needed to be pointed out, this thread is neither.

scottishmummy · 06/03/2008 22:29

OP posts:
Desiderata · 06/03/2008 22:31

Fuck me, NBH, that happens to me all the time. You need to get over it.

Come cow-pat jumping with me in Somerset. It's very liberating!

SlartyBartFast · 06/03/2008 22:32
Smile
scottishmummy · 06/03/2008 22:32

OP posts:
SlartyBartFast · 06/03/2008 22:34

SlartyBartFast · 06/03/2008 22:34

and jumped over

pointydog · 06/03/2008 22:44

"Also have you not noticed the massive amount of snobbery involved in some conversations, ie quoting, quoting, quoting, boring, boring, boring!!!"

Would that be the favourite quote thread?

pointydog · 06/03/2008 22:45

this is stuff of Challenge

Desiderata · 06/03/2008 22:49

NBH, ironically enough, I tend to get jumped on whenever I offer any grains of wisdom about babies

People rightly intuit that I haven't got a clue what I'm fucking on about, so the teeth get bared. I don't really do babies. I do toddlers and teenagers, but not babies.

You just need to find your area of expertise.

Desiderata · 06/03/2008 22:50

Ah! Pointydog ... you may have a point there.

gemmiegoatlegs · 06/03/2008 22:51
