How many 26 year old mums of two small children find super hot boyfriends like Kardashian's?

I'm not judging, mum shaming etc
The idea that Kylie Jenner has bagged one of the hottest men, in terms of popularity and talent as well, is making me slightly more envious than is normal. She has a 5 year old and 1 year old.
I am a young single mum of two and I'm currently watching baking shows with a huge infected puffy eye on my Friday night. No child free time. No way of dating as I just have no fricking time.
I don't for a minute think she's doing something wrong or that she should be staying in with a puffy eye and Prue Leith. However I do think it is unrealistic for most people and could suggest to young women that it's easy to move on and start again.
Meeting someone in your late twenties or early thirties who is ready to accept two kids is daunting. Men are either terrified, creepy or predatory. There's no Timothee's out there for me. I would have to settle, which I'm not prepared to do. It is almost impossible to find someone intelligent and ambitious who would consider a mum of two. Other than that it's all cocklodgers.

Can I fume at Kylie just a bit?

Me too. And talking about him as if he's a nobody with no profile. But I would still never have put the two of them together.

This 👆 right here. I had no idea that they were dating, but knew exactly who he was. The comments on here are not the same as the comments in the wilder world - where people are thinking he is way too intelligent/ talented/ interesting for a Jenner/ Kardashian 🤐. Not my personal opinion, but I sort of see the weirdness of it.

MorrisZapp · 09/09/2023 12:05

My sister and quite a few of her friends had babies in their early to mid twenties. Not one of them is still with the other parent. Some of them never were, after the obvious.

They've all had similar relationship patterns as the childless ones throughout their twenties and thirties, and all have long term partners or spouses now.

They're all pretty standard in terms of looks and wealth 😁

I started this thread that I think it's interesting that in this instance there is a wider gap between the reality of a celebrity mum and a 'normal' mum than there is between a 'normal' 26 year old and Kylie Jenner.
A 'normal' 26 year old would probably date again a few months after the break up of a relationship. But if you have children you get the whole 'concentrate on your children' 'don't introduce them' safeguarding sort of comments, which I agree with and even say myself. Does Kylie get that? Does she get all dressed up just for her dd to refuse to let her leave? Does she start going to the gym just get complete guilt that anytime spent out of work time should be spent with her kids?

There’s a reason many women wait until after their 20s to settle down to domesticity…

Your 20s are for having fun.

Justdontforgethelegofrog · 09/09/2023 13:00

@GodDammitCecil ok I'll just put them back in then Confused

I did, as a 35 yr old mother of two.
He was hot.
He was also absolutely incompatible with me, due to his sex addiction, which necessitates him engaging in things unappealing to me.
He divorced me abruptly, with no explanation.
I was very mentally unwell.
But now I understand the latest single mother is happily making swinging porn with him.
There's a lot to unpick there, but I avoid 'generically hot' men who target single mothers now.
They exist, some might be lovely. Not for me.

onlylovecanhurtlikethis · 09/09/2023 13:37

She's a billionaire with a surgically enhanced body of course she isn't going to be single long 🤔

zingally · 09/09/2023 13:43

Because she's a billionaire. Obviously.

Your 20s are for having fun.

You can't have fun with a child and/or partner? I take it your single now then, with no children? Or did you do the very same thing that is 'not fun'?

I don't know what kind of miserable lives you think going parents/married couples have, why wouldn't you still have fun? 😂😂😂

BlackberryCrumbs · 09/09/2023 14:11

I've never heard of him...but after a quick Google I dispute the ops assessment of being one of the 'hottest men' 😂

Anyway, thats besides the point.

But it's really, really not difficult to see how a billionaire attracts men, surely?

Honeychickpea · 09/09/2023 14:17

Single mothers on benefits attract cock lodgers, yet you are surprised that a billionaire single mother can do the same?

Justdontforgethelegofrog · 09/09/2023 15:10

@Honeychickpea I'm not on benefits! I work and I'm at university

He looks so unattractive and petulant.

Daffodilwoman · 09/09/2023 15:28

I’ve had to Google who she is dating too. Still no idea who he is. I only know of her because of her half sister.
It’s probably staged to enable both of them to get more likes/hits or whatever.
Many, many celebrity couples are staged and in it for the brand.
I also agree that why would you not date a billionaire (?) or multi millionaire (?) 26 year old, not unattractive woman….. let’s think about it for a millionth of a second.

wincarwoo · 09/09/2023 15:28

He's funny in interviews and comes across as normal. Also his costars seem to like him. He's been out with Lily Rose Depp and Lourdes when he was much younger and they met at college.

Agree they don't seem to be a match but I certainly get his appeal.

Has Kylie introduced her kids to him?

Or have they as a couple just been photographed together in public because they're famous and it's 'news'?

I'm pretty sure a famous actor has his own money.

Dighi · 09/09/2023 15:45

None of it is real. See pic of her pre-surgery. Perfectly nice but average looking girl. I don’t think most people would look twice at the pre surgery version. What she looks like now, it sets up lots of feelings of inferiority for most people who don’t have millions of spare quid to pay for top surgeons. Plus, yeah few young mums can spend all day fannying around taking pictures of their picnics (not a euphemism, I just looked at her Instagram).

Focus on other things OP. You’re doing great with your kids and the cooking shows. These difficult small years are over soon. Oh and being 20-something is actually (at least, it was in my experience!) really hard, as you navigate so much stufff. including useless men! Agree also that the boyfriend doesn’t look real either. Looks like he might be quite good fun, but not in a relationship way, haha.

It's still real.

Her looks may be cosmetically enhanced but they are still real as in, that is how she looks now, that is how her body looks. I'm sure her pics online are filtered or photos hopped but that's incredibly common in general. Who's posting pictures of themselves on social media looking shit? Everyone I know avoids that.

And it's real that she is incredibly famous and incredibly rich.

Timotheeeeeeeee Chalamet is not an attractive man. He looks exactly like the terrorist that absconded Wandsworth last week.

Clearly there is something about him. I think he's great

I agree - he has that mysterious, arty, vampire look about him that I (back in the day) would have be in to. And he is massively talented to boot. I also understand that it is all image and not real in any way .

SallyWD · 09/09/2023 18:25

Whenever someone gets involved with a Kardashian I think they must be mad. Their life becomes part of a tacky soap opera. I wouldn't touch that family with a barge pole.

I disagree that he is unattractive but 💯 on him resembling the terrorist with enviable Houdini skills. I noticed that immediately. 😄

As for @Justdontforgethelegofrog 's question, Matt Damon's wife managed it. Granted Matt Damon isn't "super hot" but he IS super rich. And she had one child, rather than two. And legend has it she was working as a waitress in a cocktail bar upmarket restaurant when she served him at his table and the rest, as they say, is history ...

Whyohwhywyoming · 09/09/2023 18:42

I don’t know who she’s dating, but I definitely upgraded as a single mother. It’s a joke in my friendship circle that he’s my reward for my previous awful marriages. But I was in my early 30s and he also had kids, which is a leveller 🤣🤣
