To ask you to please help me find a wedding song?

I'm old school, stuck in the 80's to be fair, rarely listen to any new kind of music! So I guess I'm looking for something that would work as a fantastic song to walk back down the aisle with my new husband.

I like pop, he likes rock....

So far songs we like but have decided not quite right are:

Love Shack (B52's)
Groove is in the Heart (Deelite)
Never Gonna Give you Up (Rick)
Don't stop Believing (Journey)
Everywhere (Fleetwood Mac)

We can't use 'happy' as used by a friend...

Does anyone have any other suggestions of something that is uplifting, fun and will make us and our guests smile?

Not really a wedding song but Higher Love (from the umbrella academy tv show). Listen to the original by Steve Winwood, the 2017 version with him and his daughter, and the whitney houston version.

I get married next weekend. After 25 yrs together. We've picked songs that mean something to us. Also there's one in there for my dad who has passed away.
I can tell the the songs if you'd like. But they all songs for us if you understand what I mean.
The song we are leaving to is not a wedding song at all. But it's our song.

We walked back down to “together forever” by Rick Astley. Perfect for us. We love 80’s cheese and it made everyone smile!

None of ours are really wedding songs either. One of my suggestions above is my 'aisle song' and the other picked by future husband. We both just heard them before and liked them, that's all.

I do think however, if not wedding songs they at least have to be somewhat appropriate. My MOH jokingly refers to my music taste as 'sad songs' - certainly songs about heartbreak and betrayal wouldn't suit a wedding...

I noticed the same songs tended to appear over and over again. I gave a lot a listen but ultimately stumbled across the ones I liked by accident.
