To throw away chicken three days after its Use By date?

I have some 'chicken flatties' (ie breasts beaten thin) from M&S in a BBQ glaze. Planned to eat them tonight, just saw they are Use By September 3. Three days ago.

I can only smell the BBQ sauce when I sniff them. I hate wasting food but don't really want to make my family ill.

Would I BU if I chucked them away?

I'm loath to throw out food...but even I would. Or you could end up like me at the start of july....shitting blood because I gave myself food poisoning

Bin them 🤢

Thank you all! You helped convince me it was fine to chuck them.

Much appreciated - I don't want to give everyone food poisoning at the start of school, we've waited long enough to get them back!
