To say that corn based snacks like space raiders ect. are the best savoury snack of all time?

A silly thread to cheer me up and stop me over thinking about work whilst I am on AL and DS is napping and DD and DH have gone to the park.

Corn snacks all the way, the best ones are by Perri, Banshee bones and hot lips.

Although I do love Tayto cheese and Onion (especially in a sandwich) but I don't think you can get them outside of Ireland.

NikNaks! Scampi and Lemon flavour. Although they're not as good as they used to be.

I'm going to throw a curve ball in there and say rice based snacks are the best. Those big flat round crackers, the little Japanese mixed ones with seaweed on, the knobbly chili ones...all elite!

I buy them in home bargains. They are the best! Walkers are no where near as good 😂

Beef Space Raiders are heavenly. Always to be found in my crisps drawer.

@Ulotreto I found Tangy Toms in Aldi. Brought the memories right back. My daughter loves them and is now a fan.

Please someone bring back Beef & Onion Walkers.

I love corn and processed potato snacks more than actual crisps. Though flavoured nuts/chickpeas/corn etc are even better.

These are my current favourite snack from Lidl.

They can be difficult to find, B&M/Home Bargains and Aldi sell them now and again, but they're still around.

Spicy Tomato Snaps are the best ever. Hard to find these days though.

Yes - all corn based snacks taste better than potato. Love a cheese puff, bbq space invader, Cheetos, tortilla chips etc.

I haven't had tangy toms since I was in school, now going to have to hunt them down! Love corn snacks, spicy, pickled onion but not beef.

I swear they changed the recipe for cheese tasters. Probably took some crap out. They don’t taste nearly as good 😭

Oh my god I’m 49 and I’ve only just learnt that some crisps are corn based and some potato based!

i’m never eating a potato based one again- the corn ones are so much better and now I know they’re an entirely different snack!!
