I have a very part time job, but I have not been paid for it.

How long would you go without being paid?

I have asked twice verbally and 4 times by email.

What do I do now? Give an ultimatum? Or just flat out resign? It is not my main job.

I think you can pursue them through the small claims court. Mentioning the possibility is likely to be enough...

6 months!! did they reply to you? @sadlyunpaid

Take them to small claims court for breach of contract. Whatndoes your contract say about when you will be paid? Ususally they say "monthly in arrears" or "weekly in arrears" so if that has been breached you have every right to claim.

Assuming 4-6hours work per week for 26 weeks thats between £1000 and £1600 for 6 months work. Why would anyone not pursue that kind of money!????

Well obviously 6 months is ridiculous - but OP please learn to stand up for yourself more. Asking twice verbally and 4 emails in 6 months is really not very much. Can I suggest if somethin similar happens again in the future, it's fine to ask once nicely, but then you need to start asking who exactly is doing what and when exactly it will be done. If you're ignored by one person find someone else to talk to (whoever does the admin or the payroll, maybe?)
