I was also shocked by the 10 weeks, I was renewing D2's, and she needs it for enrolling at college. But then it only took a week! (Arrived today)

I'd guess around 3 weeks

Replacement for a lost passport will take a little longer. Mine did take ten weeks (and a day) but that was right at the peak of the delays last year so shouldn’t be anything like that now.

I did mine last month, I think it was back with me within 2 weeks.

Honestly by all accounts they’re doing so much better than last year! You’ll be fine.

(unlike me, mine arrived to my immense relief while I was at a conference in London … catching covid and trashing the holiday after all)

Renewed child passport to an adult passport at the beginning of July. Took less than 2 weeks for it to arrive.

Ours took 2 weeks, been delivered today 🙂

Mine took 2 weeks - adult renewal, online application.
My son’s took 2.5 weeks - child first passport, postal application.

I applied for mine on a Monday evening and received it on Friday morning.Seriously impressive.

Dds took 9days from online application to having the passport in hand and that was to upgrade from a child’s passport to an adults.

AT the moment.... My DD sent for a new one in late July. Took 2 weeks. Friend's daughter sent for one 2nd of August. Not here yet. Not been dispatched. Neighbour sent for her daughter's first passport (she is 7 weeks old,) third week in July. Took 10 days. First passport!!! Long story short. Should take less than a month. Possibly 3 weeks.

Mine took 6 days, couldn't believe it, that was in July, I used the photobooth at Morrisons that once you've twisted the seat a dozen times to get your face in exactly the right position gives you a code as well as prints.

Just got mine and my daughters back a few days ago, took less than 2 weeks

2 x new ones for GC who'd not had one before, took just less than 14 days from online application and sending BC's in by post to receiving passports

6 working days. Or real days

well it is arriving today the 24th.

Submited it online on the 15th so pretty fast! 10 weeks. my arse
