Aibu to think Colleen Rooney should just drop it and move on?

She has won the court case. Now she is giving interviews and has apparently signed up to a movie. Does she want blood? I’ve little interest in football or their partners. However it seems gracious to just move on and forget this rather than give interviews and sign up to movies etc.

This. Why should Colleen be gracious about having countless personal stories made up about her by RV, and being taken to court for libel when she called her out?

I think Colleen Rooney has played a blinder here.

After the court case Rebekah Vardy sold her story to anyone she could, as quickly as she could.
Collen didn't say a word to anyone.

Unfortunately for Rebekah her tell all interview was with The Sun and Talk Tv.
Whereas Collen has bided her time and has managed to sell her story to Vogue.

Rebekah interview was accompanied by "Daily Mail" sad photos
Colleen interview is accompanied by fabulous photos.

I mean in "PR" look Collen's kind of winning.

I think RV was bloody lucky to avoid a prosecution for perjury. The UNCHALLENGED expert evidence completely contradicted her account of accidentally destroying her phone messages. Clearly her account was untrue; and this was on top of all the other shenanigans, the absentee PR assistant and her missing phone. The idiotic comments of the husband who couldn’t be bothered giving evidence in court etc etc. it’s a serious business going to Law. Vardy and her Ilk think that going to the courts and lying on oath is some sort of ‘game’ it isn’t and she deserves to be kept under the spotlight. She isn’t a victim, she’s a manipulator. CR showed some guts in standing up to Vardy.

Channel 4 did a 2 part drama about Wagatha Christie last Christmas and it was brilliant fun. Can't imagine a movie outdoing that.

Colleen tried to settle out of court while Rebecca insisted on a court case. Colleen didn't get all of her legal costs reimbursed so I feel more for her.

My opinion isn’t based on the court case I know little about it apart from the headlines

it’s based on how this has been spun for once she doesn’t look like a doormat

The court case was all of Vardy's making.

Vardy brought the case to court by suing Rooney for libel, even though what Rooney said was substantially true.

well- Vardy has been busily blabbering about it all over the shop so I think CR can do what she wishes. It's her life, her experience and she gets to choose how she talks about it and with whom. IMO.

(Note, my views are not consistent when it comes to other slebs selling their stories .... )
